MANDATORY Meeting

posted Feb 16, 2014 by Susie Weetman

Due to the snow and ice in Georgia this winter, we have lost a significant number of days, and O-GLow is coming up quickly! We will have a mandatory Relay meeting on Tuesday at 2:30 in room 813 to discuss O-Glow needs and leadership for next year. If you are unable to attend, please see Mrs. Weetman. See you there!

Mr. Lanier

posted Dec 11, 2013 by Susie Weetman

I wanted to give a big THANK YOU to those of you who helped out with Mr. Lanier! I ESPECIALLY want to thank the girls who covered lunches EVERY day, as well as Brianna Lancaster, Becca and Raychelle Callahan, Eliot Garcia, Beto Flores, and Eduardo Doctor, who were at every rehearsal and the show making sure that things ran smoothly. It was a LOT of fun, and we had a ton of great contestants! Don't forget to congratulate our first annual Mr. Lanier winner, Kevin Voon, if you haven't already!

As it now stands, Relay has raised about $1300 toward our $3000 goal. Over the holidays, please keep an eye out for O-Glow donations, and don't forget that your friends and relatives can donate directly to our Relay team through your personal Relay launch page. You'll even get the credit for it! Check the Relay for Life site for the awesome prizes that you could win if you surpass your $100 goal! Our current leader is Sarah Houston who is weighing in with a personal total of $343.11!

If you haven't already signed up to be an official team member on the Relay site, please do that. You can't participate in Relay in the spring or get official credit for any donations that you collect unless you're signed up through the website. It's free to do, and you get your own launch page that you can email to your family and friends, post on Facebook, tweet, etc. to ask for donations. The team page is at: Lanier Relay Page

If you want to look at my personal page to get ideas for your launch page, that can be seen here: Mrs. Weetman's Personal Relay Page
